A local HVAC company, Wilson Brothers has raised $1,000 as a sponsor and Pepperell coordinator for the American Cancer Society’s annual Daffodil Days. One of the American Cancer Society’s oldest and most beloved fundraising programs since 1973, Daffodil Days has helped to save lives from cancer by raising money and awareness to help beat the disease.
“This is the first year we participated in Daffodil Days and we are excited to have exceeded our goal,” said Tom Wilson, owner of Wilson Brothers HVAC, Inc. “The generosity of our neighbors was impressive. They opened their hearts and pockets in support of this campaign. Every dollar truly counts, especially in times like these when people need our help more than ever,” he added.
Donors selected from a range of products including bunches of daffodils, stuffed bears or donated money to purchase flowers and gifts for cancer patients. Massachusetts sponsors of this event raised over $1,000,000 during this year’s Daffodil Days.
